ROBOTICS PROGRAM
ROBOTICS PROGRAM
In 2015, Pan American International School in affiliation with the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University, initiated a robotics program as an extracurricular activity. While the program entails small groups of students assembling robots to participate in competitions with students from other schools here in Paraguay and internationally, there is much more to the program than just competition. The primary goal of our robotics program is to stimulate interest in mathematics, physics, mechanics and critical thinking in our middle school and high school students. Through exposure to computer programming, as well as the design, assembly and manipulation of robots we hope to inspire and excite future generations of engineers and scientists.
